Giving Tuesday 2024

Our goal this Giving Tuesday is to raise $75,000 to cover the essential facility costs that allow us to continue providing this safe haven for our students. Without it, we wouldn’t be able to offer the after-school tutoring, mental health support, warm meals, and nurturing community that help break the cycle of poverty.

Every day, we see the impact of a stable environment: the child who finally feels safe enough to focus on their schoolwork, the teen who discovers their confidence through art, the shy student who lights up when they feel understood. These moments happen because of this space—this home away from home.

Your donation, whether it’s $25, $100, or $1,000, will bring us closer to our $75,000 goal and ensure that these life-changing services continue. Every dollar helps us keep the doors open to hope, healing, and a brighter future for our youth.

Here's how your donation help

Home Away provides school and college supplies, clothing, meals, milestone incentives, and outdoor and cultural educational outings to the youth we serve. Our wishlist constantly involves to meet the needs and interests of our participants. Gift certificates or cash contributions (insert donate bottom) are the best way to help us fulfill our needs.

    Corporate Matching

Many companies have programs to “match” the charitable contributions made by their employees. Through corporate gift matching, your employer can multiply your gift to Home Away.

Check with your company’s Human Resources office to see if they offer gift matching.  Request a matching gift form to send to Home Away along with your donation. Our office will verify receipt of your gift and return the form to your company for matching funds.
